JS Bach complete organ works

Performed by GREG MORRIS

Greg Morris, Associate Organist of the Temple Church, performs the surviving works of JS Bach for the organ in a series of 28 concerts at some of London's most iconic ecclesiastical buildings, including Marylebone Parish Church, St George's Hanover Square, St Lawrence Jewry, St Marint-in-the-Fields, St Paul's Cathedral, Southwark Cathedral, Swiss Church, Temple Church, Westminster Abbey and Westminster Cathedral. There are two strands: the chorale-based works are performed in a liturgical cycle, reflecting the rhythm of the Lutheran calendar, while the freely-composed works are presented in roughly chronological order. Both strands are brought together in the final concert, a complete performance of Clavierübung III, published by the composer as a summation of his art for his own instrument.
